Relais della Rovere – Colle di Val d’Elsa

Ancient abbey of the eleventh century and later home of Cardinal Giuliano Della Rovere, from which the name derives, the Relais is today a splendid 4 star hotel. Located between the historic center of Colle Val d’Elsa and the Tuscan countryside, in a strategic position between Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and Chianti region, it is the ideal stop for visiting the major tourist and cultural destinations in Tuscany.

The Relais Della Rovere consists of 30 rooms including Classic, Superior, Junior Suite overlooking the upper part of the city, a Romantic Junior Suite with a four-poster bed and bathtub in the room and a ground-roof suite consisting of several spaces. The bathrooms and bedrooms, refined in color and furnishings, have been all renovated in 2021; they are equipped with the most modern comforts: spacious shower, air conditioning, large satellite TV, minibar, wi-fi, safe and telephone.

The Relais is surrounded by a large park with a travertine pool, from which you can enjoy an enchanting view of the upper and historic part of the town. The “Il Cardinale” restaurant & wine shop, obtained from the cellars of the Villa, offers typical Tuscan cuisine with a wide selection of the famous wines of the area. For business meetings and ceremonies, the Relais has an equipped meeting room, interior rooms with ancient charm and an internal cloister.
